   Hey, does it take a long time for the video to load up? I was just checking and it never loaded. Any suggestions? I have a high speed line, etc.

   I was a regular smoker and consumer of alcoholic beverages for 30 years. when I received Christ giving up the alcohol was instantaneas (although I was a heavy drinker). but giving up the cigarettes was much more difficult, or should I say I took the difficult route!! I tried chewing gum, chewing nicotrettes, cutting down consumption by 5 each day and I always ended up smoking the same (usually 6-8 packs a day, — packs of 20! that was 60 – 80 cigs a day!!!). I made many promises to the Lord which I always broke. This habit, I thought, was too hard to kick. My wife made a comment one day, she said “Don’t you think you are trying too hard!” “What do you mean by that?” I asked. “Well, Let God do the work, trust in Him. don’t make any more promises and tell him the problem”. I took her advice, I prayed to the Lord and said to him “look I cannot go on like this, I want to give up smoking, but I can’t. look you’ve got to help me, do something drastic, I said, everytime I try to smoke make me feel sick at the smell and taste of a cigarette, make it so that it gives me a headache or something, but I am not going to make anymore promises I will just take each day as it comes.” That is when it happened, God answered my prayer faithfully. from that day to this, the smell of cigarettes makes me feel sick, I gave up totally the very next day. I learned alot that day, our problems and vices have to be put directly into the hands of God. We are not strong enough to do the job without Him. give God total control and we always come out smelling of ROSES and not TOBACCO SMOKE!!!!

   Your continous work for the Lord is an inspiration for many. Continue the good work and your ministry will eventually reach the unbeliever, and will nourish others that is still hungry for the Word.

   Giving testimony for others to know that God is with us, is one of the many ways to prove that God is our stronghold during times of trouble. He answers our faithful prayer.

    It is a pleasure and an honor to be a part of Sonday International and to see what God is doing around the world. We serve an AWESOME God and there are no limits to what He can and will do! My prayer for each one is that you will have greater blessings in 2009. It blesses my heart to see God moving in other countries.
